I believe I already told you, it isn't going to happen unless 1Quick allows you edit the header of your board.
for the scrolling text to appear behind the other text on the board, the <BLOCKQUOTE><font size=2 face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">code:</font><table border="0" width="90%" bgcolor="#333333" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0"><tr><td width="100%"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" bgcolor="#FF9900"><tr><td width="100%" bgcolor="#000000"><pre><style></pre></td></tr></table></td></tr></table></BLOCKQUOTE> tag must be in the header tag of the html on the page. then, all the rest of the text in the body tag must appear between <BLOCKQUOTE><font size=2 face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">code:</font><table border="0" width="90%" bgcolor="#333333" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0"><tr><td width="100%"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" bgcolor="#FF9900"><tr><td width="100%" bgcolor="#000000"><pre><div></pre></td></tr></table></td></tr></table></BLOCKQUOTE>All board html here<BLOCKQUOTE><font size=2 face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">code:</font><table border="0" width="90%" bgcolor="#333333" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0"><tr><td width="100%"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" bgcolor="#FF9900"><tr><td width="100%" bgcolor="#000000"><pre></div></pre></td></tr></table></td></tr></table></BLOCKQUOTE> tags
it isn't going to go behind the text unless that happens. you can try to talk to 1quick about it, but i'm telling you, java is not very secure and when i talked to him previously, he said that java is not allowed. i don't know if he lied, or what is going on....whatever the case, that particular code isn't going to work on hostboard....good luck with it though

i couldn't read this thread either yesterday...
i clicked on the EDIT of your post, gt... since
the page stopped in the middle of your post.
i figured the fuck up was because of something
in your post.

i did try the DIV tags when i attempted to
put the bg on my board... and i tried a few
other code tweaks... but nothing worked.

it's not going to work ever until 1quick lets you edit the header tags of the page....until then, it will not work
in fact, currently it won't even allow you put the head tags in the code here in a message....go ahead and try it...IT AIN'T GOING TO WORK!!!!
